One invoice from many records

When it helps

The end of a week or a month: the delivery notes of one customer belong on one invoice. Instead of retyping, you tick the notes in a table, click, and the app issues one invoice for each customer in the selection. The same works for turning time sheets into a statement, hours into a payslip or orders into one shipment.

You need a table of the source records (delivery notes) with a column for the customer and the amount, and a table for the resulting documents (invoices).

How it works

1. Tick the records

   In the table mark the delivery notes you want to invoice. At most 200 can be selected at once.

2. Use the action button

   The app first checks the selection, shows what will happen and waits for your confirmation. You can close it at any time before confirming.

3. The invoices appear

   For each customer in the selection one invoice is issued with the total, the number of notes and a due date. Each delivery note then points to its invoice.

4. Invoiced notes leave the list

   The table shows only notes that are not invoiced yet, so nothing is charged twice.

What if something goes wrong

Everything happens at once. If one note cannot be invoiced, for example a colleague just invoiced it, no invoice is made and no note changes. Check the selection and try again.

Totals are exact to the cent: the database adds the real amounts of the notes. The progress and any errors are in the bulk actions overview of the table.

Ask your assistant

Say which table the documents are made from, what they are grouped by and what the invoice should contain. Add a due date, an invoice number or a currency if you need them.

Limits

Invoices are issued when you click. Doing it by itself, say every Monday, is not possible yet. At most 200 records are handled at once.
