Use your app on mobile and desktop

Open the app on your phone or add its icon to your home screen or desktop.

Before you start

You can use the app in a mobile browser immediately through its address. To add an app icon, the owner first needs to enable installation through their assistant. Use the app’s own address or verified custom domain with a secure connection; installation from an address like /apps/name is not available in Vibee.

Request for the owner
Enable adding this app to the home screen. Use the short name Service and the app icon. Check that opening the icon takes me to the work overview.

Add an icon on your device

  1. iPhone or iPad

    Open the app in Safari. If Share is not visible, open the page menu first. In the Share menu, choose Add to Home Screen; edit the actions list if the option is missing. Confirm the name and add it.

  2. Android

    Open the app in Chrome and choose Add to Home screen or Install app from the menu. The available option depends on the browser and whether the app is configured for installation.

  3. Computer

    In Chrome, use the app installation menu when available. In Safari on a supported macOS version, choose File → Add to Dock. Open the icon as a separate app.

Sign-in and connectivity

You may need to sign in again when opening the icon. Loading and saving data requires an internet connection; a home screen icon does not add offline work. After a domain change you may need to add the icon again.
